NEW YORK, NY, December 11, 2024 –– Frenalytics, the patented personalized learning and data collection software for students with unique learning needs, has won ‘Best in Show’ EdTech startup solution – for the second year in a row – in the Supes’ Choice Awards by the Institute for Education Innovation (IEI).

The Institute for Education Innovation (IEI), a national school superintendent think tank that serves as the bridge between district leaders and the K-12 industry to develop solutions to the greatest challenges in education, announced FrenalyticsEDU for the second year in a row as a winner of the 2024 Supes’ Choice Awards at their annual gala on December 6th in Midtown Manhattan.
Awarding “the best of the best in the EdTech movement” since 2021, the Supes’ Choice Awards are the only education industry awards judged exclusively by school district superintendents, recognizing the most innovative education products and solutions based on a commitment to student outcomes, innovation and ingenuity, client support, interactivity, and engagement.

Frenalytics has been honored several times over the last few years for its innovative and unique approach for software to special education. These recognitions include being named ‘World’s Most Innovative EdTech Startup’ in the 2023 GSV Cup, being named national winner of the NSF and Digital Promise’s VITAL Prize Challenge, winning a Gold Stevie® Award for Data Visualization in Special Education, and winning a Bronze Stevie® Award for UI/UX Approach to Impactful Data Dashboards in Special Education.

Last week at the IEI 2024 National Summit, Competition, and Gala, finalists in the Supes’ Choice Awards’ “SupeTank” competition delivered in-person presentations to IEI superintendent members who serve as “sharks”. Across two rounds, eight “sharks” evaluated solution providers on their mission alignment and understanding of the needs of the K-12 space; how relevant the company’s problem space is to district needs; how effectively the solution has and can scale across diverse schools and districts; its innovative approach and distinctive advantage over competitors; and whether they’d consider partnering with the solution provider in their district. From 30 compelling finalist startups, the top five scoring companies were named winners of this year’s Supes’ Choice Award for ‘Best in Show’ EdTech startup solution.
