Last week, Frenalytics and Eastern Suffolk BOCES, a program of shared educational services provided to school districts by the New York State Legislature, entered into a services agreement to enable 125 school districts across Long Island and 600+ school districts throughout New York State to access discounted FrenalyticsEDU licenses and professional development (PD) offerings for their students in special education and English Language Learner (ELL) environments.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Eastern Suffolk BOCES to bring our award-winning platform for students receiving special education and ELL services to districts large and small across our hometown New York State,” exclaimed Matt Giovanniello, CEO and co-founder of Frenalytics. “As a fellow Long Islander, partnering with our local BOCES – one that immediately recognized the vast gaps and opportunities within special education that FrenalyticsEDU can support with – helped us build a meaningful partnership from the start.”

FrenalyticsEDU offers numerous features and benefits to special education staff, students, and families, including:

  • Freeing SpEd teachers of dozens of hours on IEP paperwork every week
  • Helping improve student retention with personalized, standards-aligned, and age-appropriate lessons
  • Enabling SpEd teachers to focus on teaching, rather than manually progress monitoring
  • Centralizing communications for SpEd staff, students and families in a single portal
  • Strengthening IEPs and increase compliance with accurate, quantifiable data towards goals
  • Supporting newcomers, transfers, and mid-year learners with goal data that follows them

Frenalytics has been honored several times over the last few years for its innovative and unique approach for software to special education. These recognitions include being named ‘World’s Most Innovative EdTech Startup’ in the 2023 GSV Cup, being named national winner of the NSF and Digital Promise’s VITAL Prize Challenge, winning a Gold Stevie® Award for Data Visualization in Special Education, and winning a Bronze Stevie® Award for UI/UX Approach to Impactful Data Dashboards in Special Education.
