While you can answer as many or as few questions as you’d like in the Questionnaire tab of the Student Profile, some questions may make more sense to answer than others, and it differs from student to student.

Through data we’ve collected so far, here are some possible suggestions:

  • Favorites: We’d recommend answering questions like “What is your favorite hobby?”, “What is your favorite food?”, and “What is your favorite song?” to increase interest and encourage communication, particularly for students who may struggle with conversation or may exhibit non-verbal behavior.
  • Identification: You can use the “What is your birthday?”, “What street do you live on?”, and “What is your home/cell phone number?” questions to reinforce important facts that may be challenging to remember or recite.
  • School: For school-age students, the questions in the School section may be pertinent and helpful to focus on. You can also pair this with the Custom Questions feature to reinforce school-specific concepts!

Note that the above is not an exhaustive list, and you may find that your student responds to different types of questions in different ways. Feel free to reach out with any feedback you have!
