The Learning Session Dashboard is an analytics tool that helps students, teachers, and parents view a student’s overall progress, customize the sections shown to patients in Learning Sessions, and start new Learning Sessions.

Accessing the Learning Session Dashboard

If you’re a teacher, click “Sessions” in the main menu, and select the student from the list. If you don’t see the student here, it’s because they’ve never completed a Learning Session before. That’s OK – just click “New Student” and select them in the table here.

If you’re a student or parent, you’ll see the Learning Session Dashboard as soon as you login. To get back to it from any other page, simply click “Dashboard” from the main menu.

Statistics Definitions

  • Accuracy: The percentage of questions that a student answers correctly on their first try
  • Score: The total number of points the student has earned across all Learning Sessions
  • Sessions: The total number of Learning Sessions completed by the student
  • Last Session: The date of the last completed Learning Session

Optional Sections

In addition to the library of built-in questions that Frenalytics offers, we also have a wide range of lesson-based questions that work without you needing to provide answers to questions. Example sections include Reading Comprehension, conversational skills, and U.S. Money.

These sections are shown in the “Questionnaire Sections” table below our built-in Questionnaire sections and include an on/off switch. You can switch on or off any section in this table and change your preferences as often as you like.

Here’s some helpful information and use cases for these lesson-based questions:

  • Since not all sections are suited for all students, parents and teachers can simply switch ‘off’ a section to not display it to students in their next Learning Session
  • Based on a student’s Accuracy score for a particular section, some sections may need more focus than others — parents and teachers can switch ‘on’ and ‘off’ sections anytime to change the focus for an upcoming Learning Session
  • Included and excluded sections from a previous Learning Session are saved on the Learning Session Dashboard, making it easy for parents and teachers to see what sections a student saw last — and what they should be focusing on next
  • Sections excluded from a Learning Session do not count negatively towards a student’s Accuracy or Score calculations

Per-Section Statistics

Our Learning Session Dashboard also allows you to drill into a section to see performance statistics on a more granular level. Click the eye icon next to a section’s name to see these per-section statistics.

Per-Question Statistics

Want to see how a student is doing on a specific question over time? After clicking the eye icon next to a section’s name to view per-section statistics, click on the question name itself to see a Health Curve that displays a student’s accuracy and score for that question over time.
