Frenalytics Exceptional Educator Awards Competition Rules (“Rules”):

 

Nomination period ends Friday, 5/17 11:59pm ET. Application period ends Friday, 5/24 11:59pm ET. No purchase or signup necessary. A purchase does not increase your chances of advancing to later stages of the Exceptional Educator Awards competition (“Competition”) or winning an award (“Award”).

Definitions:

  • Active K-12 educator: person who is currently employed at an accredited K-12 public, private, charter, or homeschool organization in the United States
  • Classroom teaching positions: actively holding a K-12 teaching position with one of the following or equivalent titles: teacher, special education teacher, ICT teacher, interventionist, reading specialist, math specialist, paraprofessional, aide, specialist
  • School or district leader: actively holding a K-12 administrative or leadership position with one of the following or equivalent titles: principal, assistant principal, special education director, assistant superintendent, superintendent

 

Qualification Requirements:

  1. Must live and work in the US, submit nomination form, and fully complete and submit application by respective deadlines listed above.
  2. Must be an active K-12 educator (“qualified Entrant”) that meets one of the three below categories (hereon referred to as “entry tracks”):
    • K-12 Newcomer Educator: active K-12 classroom teacher with up to 5 years in one or more classroom teaching positions (including the current 2023-24 school year)
    • K-12 Expert Educator: active K-12 classroom teacher with 5 or more years in one or more classroom teaching positions (including the current 2023-24 school year)
    • Educator-in-Chief: active K-12 school or district leader, with 10 or more years either in the current role or 5 or more years in prior classroom teaching experience (including the current 2023-24 school year)
  3. Employees, officers, and directors of Frenalytics (“Competition Sponsor”), and their parent entities, subsidiaries, affiliated companies and advertising and promotion agencies at any time during the applicable sweepstakes period and the immediate family and other household members (i.e., spouses, parents, grandparents, children, grandchildren, roommates, housemates, significant others, partners, siblings (half and full) and the steps of each of the foregoing) of each of the above are NOT eligible to enter and/or to win this Competition.
  4. Limit one (1) entry per individual across all categories.

 

How to Advance and Win:

  1. Odds of advancing to later stages of the Competition and/or winning an Award depend on the number of entries received. Not all qualified Entrants will advance to later stages of the Competition, and as such, not all qualified Entrants will win an Award.
  2. All questions in the Competition application must be fully answered in order to be considered for advancing to later stages of the Competition.
  3. There may be subsequent application questions presented to qualified Entrants who advance to later stages of the Competition.
  4. Potential Winners will be notified by email and/or posting on the Frenalytics social media pages and/or the Frenalytics website within forty-eight (48) business hours of selection. If a qualified Entrant is selected as a Potential Winner to advance to a later stage of the Competition and/or win an Award, the Potential Winner must respond back to Frenalytics within forty-eight (48) hours of Frenalytics’ initial contact. If a Potential Winner does not contact Frenalytics within forty-eight (48) hours by telephone or email, the prize, as to that individual Potential Winner, will be forfeited and Frenalytics has the right, but not the obligation, in its sole discretion, to select an alternate winner. Once each Potential Winner completes all required information and paperwork needed to receive the prize, that Potential Winner shall become a Winner. Unaccepted prizes may not be awarded.
  5. The stages of the competition are as follows:
    1. Nomination: to be recognized as a Nominee, a qualified Entrant must submit a nomination form by the deadline stated above and meet all qualification requirements stated in these Rules.
    2. Application: to be recognized as an Applicant of the Competition, a qualified Entrant must submit an application form by the deadline stated above and meet all qualification requirements stated in these Rules.
    3. Semi-final Round: a committee of judges appointed by Frenalytics will review qualified Applications to determine qualified Entrants in each application track that will advance to the semi-final round. Selected qualified Entrants, now recognized as Potential Winners, must respond back to Frenalytics to acknowledge such selection and complete any required paperwork.
    4. Final Round: a committee of judges appointed by Frenalytics will review qualified Applications that advanced to the semi-final round to determine qualified Entrants in each application track that will advance to the final round.
      1. Subsequent application questions, if any, must be completed by a qualified Entrant within 5 business days of Frenalytics providing notification that additional application questions are required to be answered. Failure to answer all subsequent application questions within 5 business days may deem the qualified Entrant ineligible to advance further to the final round or be recognized as a Winner of the Competition.
      2. Selected qualified Entrants, recognized again as Potential Winners, must respond back to Frenalytics to acknowledge such selection and complete any required paperwork.
    5. Winners: a committee of judges appointed by Frenalytics will review qualified Applications that advanced to the semi-final round to determine a single qualified Entrant in each application track that will be named the Winner of their application track in the Competition.
      1. Subsequent application questions, if any, must be completed by a qualified Entrant within 5 business days of Frenalytics providing notification that additional application questions are required to be answered. Failure to answer all subsequent application questions within 5 business days may deem the qualified Entrant ineligible to be recognized as a Winner of the Competition.
      2. The selected qualified Entrant of each application track, recognized again as a Potential Winner, must respond back to Frenalytics to acknowledge such selection and complete any required paperwork.

 

Prizes:

  1. Qualified Entrants in all application tracks that advance to the semi-final round will be awarded:
    1. “I’m an Exceptional Educator” t-shirt, custom-designed by Frenalytics and offered in the Qualified Entrant’s desired shirt size (estimated ARV $40.00)
    2. FrenalyticsEDU 1-Year Extras License, 20 students (ARV $203.88)
  2. Qualified Entrants in the K-12 Newcomer Educator and K-12 Expert Educator application tracks that advance to the final round will be awarded:
    1. $50 Amazon.com Gift Card (ARV $50.00)
    2. Invitation to Frenalytics ISTE Conference Kickoff Happy Hour on Sunday, 6/23 in Denver, CO (estimated ARV $100.00)
  3. Qualified Entrants in the Educator-in-Chief application track that advance to the final round will be awarded:
    1. FrenalyticsEDU 1-Year Enterprise License, 150 students (ARV $10,800.00)
    2. Invitation to Frenalytics ISTE Conference Kickoff Happy Hour on Sunday, 6/23 in Denver, CO (estimated ARV $100.00)
  4. Qualified Entrants in the K-12 Newcomer Educator and K-12 Expert Educator application tracks that are selected as the Winners of the Competition will be awarded:
    1. Classroom supplies listed on the qualified Entrant’s Amazon Wishlist through the link provided at the time of application submission (estimated ARV $250.00)
  5. Qualified Entrant in the Educator-in-Chief application track that is selected as the Winner of the Competition will be awarded:
    1. FrenalyticsEDU 1-Year Enterprise License, 500 students (ARV $24,000.00)
  6. A 1099 will be issued to the qualified Entrant and/or their employer for the value of any prizes awarded by advancing to later stages of the Competition or winning an Award, as required by law.
  7. Should the need arise, Frenalytics may make reasonable substitutions of equal or greater value to any of the above-mentioned prizes.
