NEW YORK, NY, May 26, 2023 –– Frenalytics, the patented personalized learning and data collection software for people with cognitive disabilities, was honored with the Audience Favorite Award at the 2Gether-International Spring 2023 Cohort Pitch Competition on Monday, May 22.

2Gether-International (2GI), with support from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), runs an accelerator focused on founders with disabilities of early-stage, technology-based startups. Frenalytics was selected along with 5 other early-stage startups for the prestigious equity-free accelerator program.

At Monday night’s Pitch Competition event, the five startup finalists from the program pitched virtually to an expert panel of venture capital and business executive judges, as well as to over 100 attendees worldwide. Frenalytics was named Audience Favorite at the live event, which earned the team over $1,000 from sponsor and audience donations.

“This award came as a great surprise and is a testament to the human spirit and determination of our team and our many supporters,” remarked Matt Giovanniello, CEO and co-founder of Frenalytics. “We want to recognize and thank the other incredible founders in this cohort, as well as Keevin O’Rourke, Michael Zalle, Diego Mariscal and the rest of the 2GI team for their mentorship and guidance throughout this invaluable journey.”

When it comes to building a company for people with disabilities by people with disabilities, “we believe in putting our money where our mouth is,” added Matt. “It’s important to acknowledge that not all disabilities are visible – and when it comes to recruiting the best team to deliver on our mission, we look at our disabilities as special abilities.”

Frenalytics’ Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Tony Giovanniello, experienced a stroke nearly five years ago, which has afforded him a unique first-hand perspective in designing the algorithms and user flows in FrenalyticsMED for healthcare professionals, patients, and their families.

Since the launch of 2GI’s first accelerator in 2019, more than 69 startups have participated, and these businesses have collectively raised over $41 million dollars in funding from investment, revenues and acquisitions from outside investors. 2GI network’s international community consists of over 600 founders with disabilities from 15 countries worldwide.
