Re: Check-In About Frenalytics

Hi Matt,

I’d love to help identify what questions might be best suited for different diagnoses! Right now, I am still inputting information for Lillian, but by the end of this week, I plan to finish the first therapy session with Lillian and another therapy session with Ray. I’ll keep you updated, and maybe we can set up a time to talk after I get a few of those therapy sessions in!

Best,

Angela

Hi Angela,

Great to hear! Sorry about the missing bathroom image, I’ll let my team know so they can fix that.

That sounds like a great plan. We actually have a feature in our roadmap that identifies, based on the entered diagnosis for a person, questions that make the most sense for family/staff to answer for use in Therapy Sessions. You bring up a great point in that stroke patients and dementia patients respond differently to objective versus subjective questions – it might be helpful for us to talk with you sometime soon to better understand what the reaction you’re seeing from your participants is so we can identify the questions that are best suited for each type. Let us know if you’d be interested in helping us out on this front.

Let me also pass along that issue of broken images for the color question to my team and get back to you shortly.

Have a great weekend!

Matt

Hi Matt,

I just re-tried a therapy session, and pretty much all the pre-generated images successfully appeared! However, I just wanted to let you know that the pre-generated image for the patient’s bathroom question was missing; there was a blank space for it instead.

I think for now, I’m going to primarily use the custom questions tab to upload answers, since there aren’t any issues with images or options appearing during therapy sessions for custom questions. Additionally, Sylvia and I have been thinking that we might focus on objective questions for our dementia participants and avoid too many patient favorites or preferences, since we’ve found that those questions can be confusing for our dementia participants whose preferences end up changing very often. We wonder if having right or wrong answers for personal preferences might distort their sense of identity. Just an idea we had: maybe Frenalytics could target certain tabs (but not limit them to) towards certain populations and indicate that either on the platform itself or when marketing the platform (ex: favorites for stroke patients, identification for dementia patients).

Best,

AngelaOh, also one more thing:

Is there any way to delete one of the pre-generated questions altogether, or to prevent a question from showing up on the therapy session if it has a broken image icon? For example, for “what is your favorite color,” all that remains is the broken image icon, but the question still appears on the therapy sessions.

Hi Angela,

Glad to hear, and sorry for the issues with images not showing earlier. We made another fix on our end – can you try re-uploading the images that have broken image icons and then running a Therapy Session to see if the incorrect (as well as the correct) answers appear normally?

We’re still working on questions with missing options or one that repeat themselves – I’m sure this is frustrating for you too, and I’m hoping we have a fix very soon. Testing some fixes and new functionality is taking a little longer on our end than expected, and we appreciate your patience and help!

Let us know the outcome, and if we can help with anything else in the meantime.

Cheers,

Matt

Hi Matt,

Thanks for your update; I was able to successfully save images this time around! However, there are a couple of issues that I ran into:

1) I’m unable to see the images that I’ve previously uploaded and successfully saved to an older version of Frenalytics. As seen in the screenshot below, there is an image icon that appears instead:

2) When I test-ran a therapy session, both the images that I had previously inputted into the older version of Frenalytics and the pre-generated images from the program did not show up.

3) Many of the questions continue to have only one option (the correct option), as seen in the next screenshot below. The favorite color question is repeated as well, as seen in the second screenshot, except it has only one option this time. Others have two “yes” options, as seen in the third screenshot.

4) I’m unable to remove some images after uploading them (I think they can be replaced, though; the reason why I was trying to remove the image was because it was the only option that appeared in the therapy session, and I was thinking of removing the question altogether). As seen in the screenshot below (SS_Bathroom), there is no “remove media” option.

All the images and options from the custom questions successfully appeared, though! (see screenshot below)

Sorry if that’s a lot at once! Once again, thanks for all your help.

Sincerely,

Angela

Hi Angela,

We pushed out another update on our side which resolves the image uploading issue – please try again and let us know if you continue to run into issues.

Cheers,

Matt

Sounds good, thanks Matt!

Best,

Angela

Hi Angela,

Apologies for the confusion and wait – we’re still working through some more fixes and should have something available real soon. I’ll shoot you another email when things are good to go.

Thanks,

Matt

Hi Matt,

I just tried again this morning, but unfortunately, I’m still unable to save images!

Angela

Hi Angela,

Thanks for checking in – we have a fix we’re testing right now and should have it available in the next few hours. Please try again in the morning and let us know the outcome.

Thanks,

Matt

Hey Matt,

I was just wondering if there were any updates on the issue with saving images on Frenalytics! I checked again today, and Version 5.43 still doesn’t allow me to save the images.

Thanks,

Angela
